Gordon has been a pilot for over 26 years. The Decathlon was acquired about 8 yrs ago.
He is a Sportsman category competitor.  Gordon instructs out of Red Stewart Field in Waynesville, Ohio. He is flying as a captain for AStar Air Cargo (formerly DHL) in a DC8.

Emerson is the head flight instructor at Red Stewart Field (40I). He flies
the Citabria pictured here in local air shows. His wife, Kim works in the office and flies the tow plane for their glider operation.

Lorrie became interested in aviation when she was a flight attendant in the 1980's for United Express in California. Didn't take her first flying lessons until 2002 though! Lorrie is a private pilot and received her Primary Smooth Patch (achievement award)
Lorrie is currently on the Board of Directors as Secretary to the National Body of the IAC.

Mark Bayley

Mark is interested in being involved in aerobatics as a competitor and becoming a regional judge. He is a new owner of a Pitts S2B and has flown C172, LR35, LR45, Hawker 800xp and Challenger types; 300, 601 and 604. Ontario, Canada. mark.bayley@fairmont.com

Boyd Birchler

"30 years ago I bought my first plane- I still love flying after 5000 hours." Boyd is a regional judge as well as an experienced aerobatic pilot. He says he started in the 70's, started again in the 90's and hasn't stopped, but "for food, sleep and work." He currently owns a Mooney 231 and finished an eight year project building a 540 powered Super Eagle II. boyd@redistripindy.com

Thomas Buckles

Tom owns a Rans S-10 homebuilt and a Stinson 108-3. He used to fly aerobatic contests from 1980-1982 in a Citabria in the Cleveland area. buckles@alltel.net

Bob Burkhardt

Bob is retired from the Ohio Army National Guard and is a member of the Cincinnati Warbirds Squadron 18. He is the assistant chairman of the Young Eagles program of EAA 974 at Hamilton and a Flying Neurtons member at Blue Ash. Bruce Hummel

Bruce has been flying for the past 12 years. Private/Instrument and Commercial rating with appx 1550 hrs total time. He's had a P-210 Centurian for appx 11 years. Eugene Neds

Eugene is a local Marysville resident who showed up to see the club's annual contest and had so much fun he joined the club! Eugene has taken a couple of aerobatic rides in a Decathlon.

Dick MacDonald

Dick is also a member of IAC88, Michigan. He competed in Intermediate in his Decathlon, which he recently sold and is no longer flying. Dick is a Regional aerobatic judge.

Mark is interested in vintage aircraft. He owns and flys a 180 HP Clip Wing T-Craft, and a 1946 Bellanca Cruisair. He is also restoring a 1948 Straight 35 Beechcraft Bonanza. So far limited aerobatic experience, but is looking forward to learning. OHLINGER@neo.rr.com
